It's no secret that Los Angeles is one of the most sprawling cities in the world, making it difficult to see even the most of what you're doing on a trip. It can be overwhelming when you think about how to pack everything into one single trip, but even if you try and see it, you may end up seeing only a little of L.A. and spending most or all of your visit in traffic.

To maximize your travel time, stick to what Santa Monica has to offer, and if you want to stroll along the beach, stay at one of the many hotels in the area, such as the Beverly Hills Hotel or the Venice Beach Hotel.

This comprehensive list helps you to take advantage of Compton's history and culture. There are many photos of Compton and South Central that you can take home, but it is safer to go there and be safe.
